Scope of work

Tercia carries out social assessments for international investment projects and development aid programmes. We have experience in the development of less-favoured areas and in the natural resource management sector. Indigenous people are an important focus of our international work in social analysis.
We also support local government in Southern France in incorporating a social dimension into local area development projects.

Our partners

Tercia has experience in managing social assessments with teams that include local and international social science specialists.
We have the capacity to work for local projects with partners specialised in issues related to vulnerable groups, for example housing improvement.

Approach

We integrate the social dimension along with the economic and environmental dimensions in area development projects. Thus we address all three dimensions of sustainable development.
Tercia uses best practice from international development aid. Social assessments are designed in close cooperation with environmental assessment specialists, and are based on consultation with stakeholders involved with a focus on vulnerable groups.
